Opticians' windows: beer cans

This window exhibition is pretty complicated. Crumpled beer cans and a sign saying "What is Møller drinking?", refering to a Danish saying: "Hvad drikker Møller - øller!": "What is Møller drinking? - beer!". Even though it is mostly difficult to explain a joke, I will try: When yelling "Møller" in a place that gives echoes, one will hear the echo "øller". Hah-hah.

During my walks in Copenhagen, it has come to my attention that opticians' windows are very inventive and humorous. Therefore I will now start a series about it on this blog. These pictures are from a pasta-loving optician located very clear to the city hall square in Copenhagen:

Visiting café Granola

Last week I visited the café Granola at Værnedamsvej in Vesterbro. We ordered coffee, tea and cakes. I was very impressed by the details: the nice little raspberry ornament on top of the cupcake, a glass of water with every hot drink and a little cookie on the side. Felt like being in Italy :)

Commitment

A thing I really love about Copenhagen is its inhabitants. Whenever something happens, they're on it! Right now there's a lot of discussion about some refugees that the government will send back to Iraq. To avoid this a group arranged a supportive concert for the refugees. A LOT of people showed up! I think that is great.
